Soon, Secure2u will be permanently moved to the MAE app. If you need assistance or have issues authorising transactions, here’s what you can do:

As part of our continuous efforts to strengthen your banking security with us, we’re moving Secure2u to the MAE app.
Soon, you will no longer be able to use Secure2u on the M2U MY app. Activate Secure2u on the MAE app now as Secure2u on MAE will soon be the only way to approve transactions made via Maybank2u web, M2U MY app or MAE app and Maybank Debit/Credit Cards (online card transactions).
Kindly note that there will be an activation period (min. 12 hours) when you:

Switch to the MAE app or download it now so you can activate Secure2u on MAE to approve MAE/M2U transactions. Here’s how:
Step 1: Download the MAE app on Apple App Store, Google Play Store or Huawei AppGallery
Step 2: Launch app and tap ‘Secure2u’ under Quick Actions
Step 3: Tap ‘Activate Now’
Step 4: Confirm your mobile number and enter the One Time Password (OTP) received via SMS
Step 5: Enter your M2U ID / IC number
Step 6: Confirm your device name and you are all set!

The activation period is still required to safeguard and secure your online banking transactions You will need to wait 12 hours or 18 hours (if you activate it from 6pm – 12am). However, payment transfers within your own accounts and your Favourites accounts or QR Code payments are still allowed as it does not require Secure2u. For urgent assistance, please contact our Customer Care hotline at 1300-88-6688. |

Please change your Maybank2u password immediately and contact our Fraud Hotline at 03-58914744 for immediate assistance. If you suspect that someone has access to your banking username and password, please use the Kill Switch feature on the MAE app to temporarily block access to your Maybank2u account. To download the MAE app on your devices, your Operating System (OS) must be updated to the latest version (Android 9 & above, iOS13 & above). The latest OS on your device ensures the latest security enhancements for your MAE app. |
